Tata plans to grow mini-dealers in rural areas

Indian automaker Tata has launched an initiative to uplift small and medium enterprises in the motor industry while expanding its bakkie sales and service footprint across rural South Africa and in Namibia and Lesotho. They will be opened only in rural areas with sales targers of 100-150 units a year as "bolt-on business" for established vehicle workshops.
