Car sales in Canada have held up, in spite of record gasoline prices, and will likely increase again next year as auto makers cut prices to bring them in line with what's paid in the U.S., Bank of Nova Scotia said. Sales volumes in Canada increased 2.5 per cent per cent in the first half of this year.
