Nissan SA's Hardbody bakkies have been upgraded, renamed, re-engined and re-launched on the local market with the arrival of seven of a planned 15 new vehicles that will range from workhorse to 4x4 luxury. Engine improvements have allowed service intervals to be extended to 10 000km across the range including diesels, of which a new 2.5-litre unit claiming the crown of "most powerful in class" features in the new range.
