Ford Motor Co.'s first-quarter numbers may have bolstered confidence in the company's turnaround plan, but they also exposed what could be the automaker's Achilles' heel: Ford Credit. While still profitable, Ford Credit's pre-tax earnings plunged more than 87 percent to $36 million in the first three months of the year.
