Toyota Motor Corp. is promoting Jim Lentz, president of Toyota Motor Sales USA, to the high rank of managing officer of the company as part of its annual management appointments. Lentz will be one of only four non-Japanese managing officers when his appointment becomes official at a board meeting in June following the annual shareholders' meeting.
