Passenger car leader Maruti Suzuki India is gearing up for fresh challenge in the highly competitive small car market by replacing the engines of its existing small cars with a new series of next generation engines. The first GeNext engine—K-serieswill be a petrol engine which will be strapped in Maruti’s next small car—A Star.
