Fiat buys Chrysler powertrain plant in Brazil

Chrysler LLC said that it sold its Brazil engine plant, Tritec Motors Ltda., to Fiat Powertrain Technologies. Fiat said the plant would produce a new range of mid-sized gasoline and flex-fuel engines.
