Russia's AvtoVAZ will eventually also make Renault and Nissan cars, Renault CEO Carlos Ghosn said in Togliatti, Russia, after signing a deal to buy a 25 percent stake in the maker of Lada. Other carmakers like General Motors, Fiat and Volkswagen have also vied for a stake in AvtoVAZ and Ghosn said the talks had lasted two years.
