Carbon dioxide reduction will be an underlying theme on Volvo's stand at Frankfurt, and taking center stage will be a new plug-in hybrid concept, called the ReCharge. Based on the recently introduced C30 hatchback, the ReCharge is a so-called series hybrid in which there is no physical connection between the engine and the wheels.
