DaimlerChrysler Financial Services, which has a loan portfolio of $107 billion in North America, is also breaking up now as the German and U.S. automakers go their separate ways. At the division's U.S. headquarters in Farmington Hills, employees are bracing for a wrenching separation from longtime colleagues as a third of the 1,200 staff prepare to decamp to new offices on Aug. 6.
