Global carmakers like Audi, Volkswagen, Ford, GM, Toyota and Hyundai have flocked to five Central and Eastern European countries - Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania -- making the region the "new Detroit of Europe", replacing the older manufacturing centers of Germany, the UK and France.
