Hyundai Union Says No to Anti-FTA Strike

The Hyundai Motor labor union will not take part in an illegal strike against the Korea-U.S. free trade agreement being pushed for by the Korean Metal Workers’ Union. But it will join partial strikes. The labor unions of Kia Motors, GM Daewoo and Ssangyong Motor are also considering rejecting the metal union’s demand to take part in the anti-FTA strike.
