Nissan and General Motors are unlikely to form a capital alliance. Nissan and Renault SA of France, have been in talks with GM since mid-July with an eye to forming a tie-up.
But the Nissan-Renault group is instead likely to cooperate with GM in procuring spare parts and materials.
