A U.S. car firm may invest $1.4 billion in Indonesia to tap the region's growing car market. Both General Motors Corp. and Ford Motor Co. already operate in Thailand and have shipped vehicles to Indonesia, Southeast Asia's largest economy and the world's fourth most populous nation with 220 million people.
