A parts plant of auto supplier Federal Mogul was saved in St. Johns, MI after workers of UAW Local 925 voted to accept a last-minute contract agreement. The auto supplier threatened to close the factory and move production to Mexico, Argentina, or China where labor costs are cheaper. Details of the new contract were not immediately available.
