The first wave of Nissan North America Inc.'s new full-size pickups will be shipped to both the company's weak and strong markets to get a quick read on consumer reaction. Nissan - which is spending $70 million to market the Titan, will also strike hard and fast in geographic areas where market leader Ford F-150 and the Toyota Tundra trucks are strong. About 6,000 of the Titans will be shipped out in December.
