Volvo, Saab, Audi and Volkswagen are recalling about 40,000 cars because of a faulty towing hook. The hook, called Brink G.3.0, was mounted on 17,000 cars sold in Sweden since 1998. It also was mounted on 18,000 Volvos and 3,500 Saabs in other markets.
